A classically trained dancer, educator, and mother of two, Jessie turned to yoga to recover from dance and pregnancy-related injuries. After experiencing the body-mind-spirit union that yoga cultivates, Jessie dedicated herself as a life-long learner to the practice. She holds a Bachelor’s in English with a Minor in Dance, 30 years of classical dance training, and 10 years of director experience in the fine art and education non-profit sectors. Jessie is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and has practiced yoga for over 10 years. Her classes integrate traditional yoga postures and breath work with a creative sensibility, drawing inspiration from nature, written word, and embodied movement. She teaches vinyasa, restorative, yin, prenatal and postpartum yoga.
